realme unveiled its latest budget phone, the realme C61, in India. The entry-level device emphasizes durability with an IP54 dust and water resistance build, a reinforced screen, and a metal frame.
realme has not yet revealed the full specs and features of the phone. It is scheduled to launch on July 28. However, they did release some details about it including the price
The realme C61 has a Unisoc T612 chipset in 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB configurations. There’s a 32MP main camera at the back with a depth sensor and a 5000mAh battery. The phone is expected to have a 6.5-inch HD display as well.
The handset comes in Marble Black and Safari Green colors. Aside from the IP54 resistance, it is marketed to have ArmorShell Protection with a TÜV Rheinland High-Reliability Certification, a metallic frame, reinforced glass, and some form of drop protection.
Its full specifications will be revealed on July 28, 2024. As for the price, the realme C61 4GB+64GB model retails for INR 7,699 (PHP 5400 or $92), the 4GB+128GB for INR 8,499 (PHP 6,000 or $102), and the 6GB+128GB for INR 8,999 (PHP 6,400 or $108).
