HONOR Philippines teased the HONOR 200 Series 5G for the Philippine market. They asked if the phone was coming to the country and, of course, the obvious answer was yes.
The series is composed of two devices — the HONOR 200 5G and HONOR 200 Pro 5G. At this point it is unclear which phone they’re bringing to the country, both phones offer promising specs and features.
The HONOR 200 5G has a 6.7-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with 2664×1200 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4000 nits. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone also has a 5200mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.
It has a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP main with a Sony IMX906, a 50MP telephoto with a Sony IMX856, and a 12MP ultra-wide. It has a 50MP selfie shooter in front.
The HONOR 200 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has a 6.78-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display with a 2700×1224 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4000 nits.
This time, the Pro model boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It has the same battery capacity and fast charging but adds a 66W wireless fast charging to the mix.
The HONOR 200 Pro 5G also has the same camera setup but uses a different H9000 sensor for the main camera.
At this point, there are no details yet on when the phones will launch in the Philippines. But we expect it to happen soon. Stay tuned.
