Garmin Philippines announced the inaugural Philippines leg of the Garmin Run Asia Series, which is set for November 12, 2024, at Filinvest City, Alabang. The race features categories of 5km, 10km, and 21km.
Registration fees for the race will be available from June 12 to November 15. Early bird rates start at PHP 1,400 per runner for the 5K race, PHP 1,600 for the 10K race, and PHP 2,200 for the 21K race. Interested participants can register on the official website.
“The Garmin Run Asia Series is an exciting cross-continental series of running events spanning multiple cities in Asia, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring it to Manila for the first time ever. This landmark event aims to cultivate a culture of running among Filipinos, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster a sense of community,” shared Ryan Tan, Founder and CEO, NAVCO Group.
Runners who complete their category within a specified time will receive a completion medal, an electronic certificate of achievement, and a special gift.
Furthermore, participants who finish the competition will have the chance to win exclusive merchandise.
